Email - Fax - File Storage (PDF)
This feature requires Version 6.5 or greater of our software.
(does not work with Windows 95, 98 or Mac)
For "How To Use" instructions, see the program's "Email - Fax" button (in the yellow menu bar).
This feature creates a PDF (Portable Document Format) file which can be emailed, faxed and stored. The software's "Generate" button is used to create the PDF file.

Troubleshooting
If you have any issues while generating PDFs, such as:
- When I click the "generate" button, it immediately tries to print via the printer.
- I can't find the PDF.
- After moving the program to a new computer, including on a network, it no longer creates a PDF.
- I get Error Messages which reference Schubec, Ghostscript, Printer Conflict or Corrupted Printer Drivers.
The following checklist will guide you through our most common solutions:

Click the "Email - Fax" button in the Yellow Menu Bar.
Click the Generate button. This should bring up the Schubec Plugin Email dialog box.
If no dialog box appears, go to step 2.
If clicking the button causes your printer to activate, go to step 2.
In the Schubec Plugin Email dialog box:
Save in: . . . . Select the location to save the document. We recommend the Desktop.
File Name: . . Be sure that your choice of file name ends in .pdf (the "." is required)
Save: . . . . . . Click the Save button to save the document.
Minimize any open windows.
If you still cannot find the PDF, proceed to step 2.
- Re-select the current printer.
- Click on the "Print Options" button.
- In the Print Options layout, select "Full Print Dialogs".
- Click on "Return To Form".
- Click on the "Print" button. You will see a series of print dialog boxes, one of which lets you set the default printer. Select the appropriate printer and continue printing.
- Once printing occurs correctly, you may wish to return to the "Print Options" layout and switch back to "Simple Print Dialogs".
Exit the programs and restart the computer.

If you continue to get error message(s) which reference Schubec, Ghostscript,
Printer Conflict or Corrupted Printer Drivers after exhausting the above solutions:
Install the "E-Mail Fix" package
The download link for the E-Mail Fix can be found under
"Free 3rd Party Software" at the bottom of our Download Page.

You can also re-install and / or update your printer driver software. This is a free download.
Note: When you copy the program to a New Computer or Network, the Schubec and Ghostscript e-mail components do not copy with the program. You should install both of these components (E-Mail Fix), but this will not affect the performance of the non-PDF portions of the program if they are not installed.
